How to Talk About Yourself

In this week's interview, Ron and Mari talk about what they are good at. It's not always easy to talk about what you are good at because you might feel like you are bragging (acting too proud of yourself).
One way to soften your style so that you sound more humble is to use these phrases:

People tell me I’m good at...
I’d like to think I’m good at...
I’m pretty good at...

On the other hand, when you are talking about what you are bad at, it's fine to be direct and even better if you exaggerate:
I'm terrible at...
I'm the worst at...
I am probably the worst...in the world.

This is the end of the post.
